Great app, terrible start page

Why is the Facebook fan page for StockSpy the landing page every time I start the application? Could you have picked an uglier, less useful page for users to land on? I would KILL for the ability to turn this page off and simply land on the first stock (DJI) in my symbol list.

Otherwise this app is great. But if they removed that stupid and useless Facebook page, this app would get 5 stars.
